Your purchase allows us to keep making music, for which we are utterly, profoundly grateful. This is #5 in a series i am posting now. . i think there will be 3 or 4 more versions still to come, hope to have all up in the next few days . look out we may raise the price once we have more tracks.
Getting close on Smudge. Been doing much fixing of my busy bass, and adding better lo-bass. Meanwhile honing down the many other parts.
Will have nice files for you to play to, Pat, by later today.
Markus, I'll send you the edited versions of your parts, for you to either further adjust as you like, or use as they are.
Whee, this is a hummer.

Load in files at bar one. Start with them all at zero level, and you'll have my levels.
Gave you the bass files separately, also at the levels I had -- you might want more or less of one of them, and you might want to grab bits from either.
Breakdown: I put in the vibebass, and a few low notes -- but this section is meant for you to play with ... do what you like, including removing all or part of the basses if you want.
Verse at end: Your drum track won't have the Verse that's been added at measure 105 --- you can drag drums from elsewhere, as I did, or play new.
Ending: Wish you hadn't cut off what you first did with the Shosty -- I'd have played something to it. Maybe just put back a few more bars of it, or whatever you feel, and if necessary Markus and I can play to that, or drag in stuff from earlier in the piece. I feel it can fade down pretty quick and seem right, but not quite as quick as it is now.

Go ahead and do the harmony if you wish. I'm jammed!

Hi Markus -- love what you've done.
Would you mind separating out the parts and sending stem of each. Having
it
all on one makes it rough to get right balance for your melody.
Since you've done the melody in A and it's return, I'll try to come up
with
harmony for the return.
I was gonna change the chords of C section (the B chords with A bass
drone)
but you did a very nice part to what's there, so I think it's cool.
I'll have more to you guys in a day or so, but please do send me those
separate parts.

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes. Stephen Roberts
